Jackanory and the Ball  When you find music that makes you feel good, you definitely don’t want to let go of it.  That’s what happened recently when I discovered North London duo, Jackanory and the Ball. With an impressive resume behind them, it’s understandable why their fan base is continuously growing with the more electric shows they play. With a career as a performer, producer and DJ, Michael Rendall (Jackanory) provides the infectious melodies on his beloved piano while singer/songwriter/producer and former drummer, Tom Skelton (Ball) hits us in the crotch with his punchy rhymes and lush, soulful vocals (listen to the below video for a true example of Ball’s voice). People are already talking so expect to hear much more from these guys as they take over London and put life back into the hip hop scene. Just with much more energy and emotion.
